The difference between ideas and products versus problems and solutions is …… what?

  1. The difference between an idea and a product is often a surprising amount of work. Ernest Hemmingway captured it concisely:
-The first draft of anything is shit.

Same with ideas. The first idea brings with it an elation that helps it survive a few weeks. If it is honed, packaged and altered, it may turn into a widely used product, given some skill, love and lots of luck.

  2. I was thinking more along the lines of

“idea, product” versus “problem, solution” where some ppl make something to solve a problem and other have an idea and makes a product.
